New Street/Alice's

I've been looking at some Charleston lodging that I can't find any reviews on. I've seen it online as Alice's Carriage House Bed & Breakfast at http://cvrbo.com/listings/charleston/2297.htm and New Street Bed and Breakfast at http://www.historiccharlestonbedandb...operty.pl?1223
and I'm not sure which one is more current, but has anyone stayed here recently? We have been to Charleston before and like to stay a week and prefer something with a kitchen. The pool area also looks nice, but it concerns me that I can't find any reviews on it.

Find out the adress. I could not access the second link.

Homeowners can be very liberal and listing what may or may not the the 'heart of Charleston Historic District'.

Nice website and thank you for that link.

To follow up on what I wrote, if you click on the 'Fantastic Waterview' listing under Charleston Penninsula, the listing is for Hanahan which is a long way from Charleston.

Except it's not 2317: Fantastic Water View! I was referring to, it's 2297: Alice's Carriage House Bed & Breakfast that I was referring to.

And for some reason the first link didn't include the ?1223 at the end even though I typed it in, so I think if you add that to the end it will work.

Reread my post. I said check the address of your cvrbo.com and used the Waterview listing as an example.

Sorry, I misunderstood. It is on New Street between Broad Street and Tradd Street, so I believe it is in a good location.

I have stayed at Alice's B and B. It is actually a nice little place. Good location, quiet, private, and the facilities are practically brand new. It is a ten minute walk to most locations you may want to visit, including some great restaurants.

Alice and David Whitt are very gracious hosts--not actually from Charleston but very in the know on everything going on in town.

Hope this helps.
