We are flying into Orlando in mid-April and have the whole day for "whatever" before we need to meet friends that evening elsewhere. We love beaches and New Smyrna Beach caught my eye because you can drive on the beach.
If you have been there, how did you like it? Were there umbrellas and chairs for rent? (We won't be bringing any on the plane). Is it warm enough to sunbathe in mid-April? Are there any places to eat lunch that you can recommend?
I'd appreciate any information or comments about NSB. Thanks!
