The most recent Red Lodge info I found was about 4 years old so let's do an update.
First, has anyone been there during the BMW Motorcycle Rally? Wondering if it's really crowded, noisy and how traveling on the Beartooth will be.
Any updates on places to eat in town. Just looking for a comfortable place for 8 people to enjoy dinner without being too pricey.

We stayed in a very comfortable room at Rocky Fork Inn, and our hostess told us what the best restaurants were. There is good food in Red Lodge.
If you search "Beartooth Highway" you may more recent information about Red Bluff.

Perhaps the best meal during a three week trip.
Most of the BMW people stay at Lion's Camp south of Red Lodge. The weekend isn't much busier than usual. That said, it's always a good idea to have reservations well in advance in Red Lodge in summer, especially on weekends.
BMW takes pride in manufacturing quiet motorcycles. They are whisper-quiet, so you needn't worry about the noise they make.
Rocky Fork Inn is very good. So is Gallagher's Irish Rose. Both are bead and breakfast establishments. Two fine restaurants, Carbon County Steakhouse and Bridge Creek Back Country Kitchen are just a block away from the Rose. Old Piney Dell at Rock Creek Resort is an excellent restaurant as well. It's in the mountains about 8 miles south of town.
All these places have websites. Just Google them.
