New Orleants dining
Heading to New Orleans later this year. Last time we were there was 6 years ago, and our favorite was Emeril's (too noisy by far, but the food was fabulous). We liked but didn't love Bayona. For breakfast and lunch, Johnny's Po Boy and Camellia Grill are our style (don't like Mother's). We had fun at Cooter Brown's.
So, we have 5 nights to plan for. We'd like a mix of "better" and good-food-but-more-local (even dive-y) places.
Your thoughts?

http://liuzzasnola.com Great BBQ shrimp Po boy. A bit out of the way, but within [long] walking distance of New Orleans Museum of Art and the Botanical Gardens, both of which we liked it alot.

We think Emeril's NOLA is far superior to his namesake restaurant. Funny, we felt the same about Bayona, thanks to some loud drunks.
Cochon is short on atmosphere but wonderful for food, but we normally do lunch.
Absolutely detested Commanders Palace which seemed like tourist central.

We had a very fine meal at Mister B's Bistro. And Cafe du Monde is as good as ever. And if you have a car, you will be the only tourist on the other side of the lake at Ponchatrain Po Boy, piled high and deep fried in Mandeville.

Hey, dumbell, mind explaining why two people going to eat, possibly within walking distance of their hotel will "definitely need a limousine"?
