Hi Eileen,
We stayed at the Mandevilla Bed and Breakfast and loved it! It's in the Garden District, and our room was huge, had a double jacuzzi and a nice balcony that overlooked a pretty pond.
They are very friendly and are also very flexable with what time you may check out. The place was built in 1850 and the furnishings are really pretty.
I don't have the number off the top of my head, but they are on the Bedandbreakfast.com website.
Have fun!

Sorry, didn't realize that I wasn't technically in the Garden District when we stayed at Mandevila.
But I still would say it's a great place to stay. I guess it was right past the Garden District, but I couldn't tell the difference with the scenery.
