New Orleans 1st time: Restaurant Question?

Jump to last reply

My husband and I and our daughter, 21, are going to New Orleans for the first time- the week of May 21. We are staying at Hotel Monteleone.
Do I need to make dinner reservations?
We are interested in eating real, regional food but not necessarily "tourist" spots, except once or twice perhaps.
Does anyone have strong recommendations?? And should we reserve ahead? It's getting late....!
Thanks!
