Neopatrick in Greater Tuna in Georgia

I mentioned this some time back and Starrs mentioned coming up to Blue Ridge to see it, but I can't find that post. Are you out there, Starrs?
I'm doing the two actor comedy, Greater Tuna up in Blue Ridge, Georgia this weekend and next (Aug. 27 to Sept. 5) on Thursday through Saturday evenings and matinees on Sunday, Aug. 30 and Saturday, Sept. 5.
I'm doing this with the actor I've done the show with twice before in Naples as well as Greater Tuna. He and his wife now live in Blue Ridge, Ga. and we are doing this as a fund raiser for The Blue Ridge Community Theatre which just moved into a new (but unfinished) theatre.
Lots of fun as we each play 10 different roles -- all residents of Tuna, the third smallest town in Texas.

Duh. I meant I've also done Tuna Christmas with the same actor.

Hi there Patrick! I saw on one of the threads, yesterday I believe, that starrs stated she was going to see you in Greater Tuna this weekend. Wish I could be with her! I so remember enjoying Greater Tuna at the Marines Memorial in SF. Take care and have fun..or guess I should say "break a leg".

Yep. We have a few "dark" days this week, so I'm in Atlanta, then head back up to Blue Ridge on Thursday for our final four performances this weekend.

Starrs DID arrive and see it last weekend!

Hi Patrick...I guess you are in Honolulu by now, but I'm so sorry to have missed this post and your previous post about being in Blue Ridge. I live nearby and would have loved to have seen you in Greater Tuna.

Can't wait to hear of your adventure thru the Hawaiian Islands. I always enjoy your trip reports.

Hi Patrick,
I hope the final performances of Greater Tuna went well in Georgia and that you are having a wonderful time in Hawaii. Please forgive me for intruding on your vacation...If you get a chance, could you make a suggestion or two for theatre in NYC this fall? DH and I are planning a visit 10/08 through 10/11/09 and would love to catch at least one play. Saw August Osage County in January on your advice and was in awe. Also travel to London once or twice a year and would appreciate any of your thoughts about what is showing there, if you don't mind.

Oh, iceeu2, I didn't know you lived in that area. Sorry you missed it -- we were "brilliant" of course!!

barbotrl, I'm afraid for once I'm not a very good authority on NY theatre coming up. I've been so busy, I've lost all touch with things going on there.
But I would sure look at Superior Donuts, the new play by the playwright of August Osage County. The musical, Next to Normal, the new production of Ragtime, and God of Carnage would also be on my list.

He was indeed brilliant! We loved the show. Patrick, you were my profile picture on FB for a while there.

It was great to see you after the show, and you were fabulous during the show. Come back for Tuna Christmas and I have a big group that wants to come up to see it!

Patrick, I too am coming to this thread late. I'm sure you were a smash. I've seen "Tuna" many times and it still makes me laugh every time I see it. (What with living in TX, I LIVE "Tuna" some days!)

I hope you are well and have a wonderful trip to Hawaii. Looking forward to the trip report! Aloha!
