Need the Name of Carmel Restaurant

We ate breakfast in Carmel a few years ago at a very fun casual restaurant. They had a patio and it was just North a block or 2 from Ocean Blvd. My husband says the name was Katies. I can't remember. I do remember there were lots of dogs tied up outside, and it was homey as opposed to cool and sophisticated. thanks for any help.

I thought Katy's Place was on Mission, a couple of blocks above Carmel Plaza on Ocean. Did it close?

Both look homey, thought I think it's the Katy's Place of SAB's link.

It is Katy's Place! Thank you. The Cottage looks nice but Katy's Place had the look of a place that didn't come from the cookie cutter brand of casual restaurants. The menu was no big deal, but that was the best part, it seemed non-trendy. Now here's my dilemma. On their web site they state they only take cash, no credit cards! I'm in Kansas and would like to buy friends a gift certificate there. Guess I'm out of luck.

Zwho maybe you can call them and see what they will do to accomodate you for the idea of a gift card - they might take a money order.
