Need Lexington KY road info
We have family members who will be traveling on I-64 to the Lexington area who will then continue west on US 60 and Blue Grass Parkway.
What is the best way to get from I64 to BGP? There doesn't seem to be a good way on the map that avoids downtown roads and traffic.
Thanks!

You are correct about that, except that downtown traffic b/w 64 and 60 is not that much of a problem to navigate. There are some areas of town that do have bad traffic congestion, but your family should not have too much problem if they follow this path:
Take I-64 to the Newtown Pike exit (Route 922) and go north on Newtown Pike, toward downtown lexington.
On Newtown Pike, drive about 1 mile and take a right onto to New Circle Road (west).
Take New Circle past 3 major intersections (Georgetown Road, Leestown Road, and Old Frankfort Pike).
After Old Frankfort Pike, the next major interscetion is US 60 (Versailles Road). Take US 60 West, toward Versailles and away from downtown Lexington, and they are on their way to BGP.

The New Circle (4)exit on Newtown is not very well marked and traffic can be bad from 4-6 pm on New Circle. There is also construction on New Circle just past the Versailles Road US 60 exit that may cause back-ups.
