Need advice / site for reunion with best friend

Twenty-three years ago, my old songwriting buddy from Nashville (W.T. Davidson) and I took a hilarious trip to a sort of resort called Falls Creek Falls. Now, 23 years later, we want to have a reunion (sans wives). Now I live way out east on Long Island, and he's outside Nashville. So we're looking for a midpoint that would be interesting. My map suggests somehwere in the Appalachians -- Va. or West Va. Any ideas?

I've heard of W.T. Davidson. He's great. What time of year are you going?

How ’bout the Gettysburg Bluegrass Festival? It's in May.

More on the music theme: Merlefest. It's in Wilkesboro, NC (merlefest.org) at the end of April.

Hello, I'm partial to the Nemocolins Woodlands Resort and Spa. Its in Farmington Pa, about 60 miles SE of Pittsburgh. What a place. They have skiing, 2 of the best rated golf courses, lake for skating or boats in season. Its a french style chateau, and also has an equestrian center and a sportsmans lodge. They have a web site. Its www.nemcolinwoodlands.com. Very very nice place and 10 excellent restaurants and bars. Check it out..
