Need advice about drive from Taos to Denver
I'm stopping in Taos on my way from Santa Fe to Denver, and I need some advice about whether Taos is worth an overnight stay, or do you suggest just visiting Taos for the day and staying overnight in Pueblo, Colorado Springs, or another city in CO instead to shorten the drive to Denver? Any suggestions are appreciated!

Having just returned from a month in Toas, I would vote to spend the night there! You can definitely fill the day in Taos with sites/adventures, have a nice dinner, sleep and hit the road in the morning to Denver. I can make some suggestions for your time there, depending on what you're interested in, and if you've spent time in Taos before, etc.

I would stay the night in Taos and then head to Denver in the morning. You could take advantage of Taos for the whole day and really not impact the arrival time in Denver by all that much. The drive from Taos to Denver isn't bad, so I don't think you need to lessen it by staying in Pueblo [and that would be a tedious drive after a whole day in Taos]. And to stay in Colorado Springs, well you might as well go the rest of the way to Denver. IMHO of course,

Taos is a lovely town and well worth the overnight there. It's about a five-hour drive to Denver from Taos, and if your schedule permits, I'd recommend doing a quick side trip to Sand Dunes National Park on your way north. It's a scenic drive out of Taos to the San Luis Valley of Colorado and you can spend a little time enjoying the very unique vistas of the Sand Dunes.
