Wow, thanks for posting this, yk!

For once in my life my timing is great. I'm leaving for Arizona on 4/17 and will be visiting the GC.

Senior citizens; Keep in mind that a 'life time pass' for National Parks costs $10. It would include everyone in the car. We have used the pass quite a few times. Richard

Yk- Nice find.
The 'life time pass' is not necessarily free for all site admissions - some NPS locations charge a discounted fee to the holder and 3 other person. 1 member in our group had that pass, but all 4 of us still paid something like half price at the Lowell Historical Site last year.

Hi mmyk72; True, but keep in mind that Yosmite, Yellowstone and similar parks are 'Free' and this pass is a bargin of a lifetime. Richard http://store.usgs.gov/pass/index.html

Oh definitely agree, iris. It's a real perk for people 'old' enough to get it. Just saying there are some places that are not totally free with the pass, so one should take advantage when these free NPS weeks come around.
