Head out and enjoy!

To make it easier to experience America's Great Outdoors, the National Park Service is waiving entrance fees, so visitors can enjoy all 392 national parks for free April 17-25. In addition, many national park concessioners are offering special promotions that are certain to add to your fun.

Yk- Nice find.
The 'life time pass' is not necessarily free for all site admissions - some NPS locations charge a discounted fee to the holder and 3 other person. 1 member in our group had that pass, but all 4 of us still paid something like half price at the Lowell Historical Site last year.

Oh definitely agree, iris. It's a real perk for people 'old' enough to get it. Just saying there are some places that are not totally free with the pass, so one should take advantage when these free NPS weeks come around.
