I would like to plan a trip for my husband and I to go to Natchez, MS. Would like info on B & B's and sights. Also when is the best time to visit when not so busy. Interested in antique shops, too.

I was in Natchez a few years back. I was a little disappointed in that the old plantations were great but the area generally run down. A day or two is plenty. Call the Natchez chamber of commerce and I am sure you can get loads of info. I stayed at "The Burn" and it was about $100 for the room which was nice. In the Spring there is the Pilgrimage where homes that are not normally open the entire year are open during this time. Supposedly, tour guides are in costume. The downside to the Pilgrimage is that certain houses are open only on certain days. So, if you are there during the pilgrimage and you have your heart set on seeing different homes, if there not on the tour that day, forget it!
I went the day after Pilgrimage ended and I saw what I wanted.
Feel free to e-mail me back if you want more info.
