Nashville Restaurant

I'm coming to Nashville on June 12-14, 2002 and would like to eat at a restaurant I saw on a TV show (probably the travel channel or CMT) but I can't remember the name. It served pancakes and was one of Vince Gill's favorite restaurants. Would anyone know the name?

It may have been the Pancake Pantry at 1796 21st Avenue South.

Cracker Barrel. They're the ones with the rocking chairs out front.

I saw that on TV too....I think it was the Travel Channel.

It't the Pancake Pantry. There's one in Nashville near Music Row (above address sounds right). There is also one (the original) in Gatlinburg, TN.

Another good place to eat breakfast in Nashville and have a good chance of seeing a star is the Loveless Cafe. It's near the head of the Natchez Trace just west of Nashville.

Vince Gill loves the Pancake Pantry. Not only was it on the TV show, but there was an article a couple of years ago in the Nasville Tennessean.

I love the banana pancakes~!

Nah, Gill likes to head over to the Cracker Barrel on Music Valley Drive for biscuits and gravy after a night of bangin' Amy Grant.

Pancake Pantry - there's actually a blurb on the home page of nashville.citysearch.com today, check it out. Enjoy Nashville! Lori

The Pancake Pantry is wonderful...just as an FYI, if you go on a weekend day, be sure to be prepared to stand in line for a while-maybe 30-45 minutes! It's worth it though! Enjoy!
If you are looking for a great dinner place, not downtown, check out the Sunset Grill, in the vicinity of Pancake Pantry I believe (haven't lived there in 3 years!).

Pancake Pantry! YUM!! Near Vanderbilt, definitely a wait on a weekend, but worth it.

Loveless is good, but limited menu. The biscuits, fried chicken and preserves are wonderful. Be sure to make a reservation and you will have to wait, too.
