elle7, can't help with those but have stayed at The Manor House Inn (sister of Roberts House), and it was beautiful and comfortable with amazing gardens. Their continental breakfast was fresh and excellent, superb coffee. If you're going to Nantucket to stay anywhere, I'M JEALOUS!

We stayed at the Anchor Inn many, many, many times until we bought our Nantucket timeshare.
Charles and Anne are great. Charles's muffins are the best on the porch or outside if it's nice. It's a great atmospheric laid-back reasonably-priced place to stay.
You can't go wrong with any of their rooms, and the location is perfect.
Can't help with the other inn - never heard of it.

I live in Nantucket, so I don't stay in inns, but all three are well-located. Cobblestone Inn is likely to be slightly quieter than the other two, but that all depends on what room you have where.
American Seasons, one of the very best restaurants is at 80 Centre Street and well worth a visit.

And if you can get a copy of Innside Nantucket by Frank Gilbreth which was written in the 1950's, it was written when the Gilbreth family owned the Anchor Inn. I used to buy copies on eBay for Charles and Ann when I lived on Nantucket.
