Hi,
My husband and I are planning a trip to Nantucket either for May end (after May 28th) or sometime during June first week ..we are wanting to stay for 4 days & 3 nights.
We are looking for accommodations in hotels/inns which are reasonably priced..anywhere under 130$. Any suggestions? Any special deals to look out for?
Thank you in advance.

The weekend of May 28 is Memorial Day, and there absolutely will not be any inexpensive accomodation available and may not be an rooms at any price. It is a big holiday in Nantucket, with a big sailboat race.
The first week in June may be better since everything will be open but the people will have disappeared (except for weekends) until school gets out.
I would look at the B&B's on Centre Street (there is a load of them) and avoid the Nantucket Inn (it is a motel at the airport!) rather than the larger hotels. (The "Nantucket Inn" has a big pool and is fine if you are traveling with kids.)
Eat at LoLa 41 and Corazon del Mar for delicious, reasonably priced dinners. More expensive choices are American Seasons, the Boarding House, and 21 Federal. Very expensive (unless you are from NY or London) are the Pearl and the Galley (spectacular sunset views). All are worth the money.
You can have an inexpensive lunch with water views at Easy Street Cafe (ask to sit upstairs) or a more expensive one at
Rope Walk, where you are surrounded by water.
It won't be warm, necessarily, so bring layers and don't plan to go in the water, though it may be fine for sunning.
Have a wonderful time!
Thank you Ackislander
