Mystic Hotels -- Hilton or Taber Inne & Suites

My fiancee and I are spending July 4th Weekend in Mystic, CT and are trying to decide between the Hilton (which was panned on tripadvisor.com) or the Taber Inne & Suites. Any thoughts??
