Must See Stops along Skyline Drive - Shenandoah National Park

Jump to last reply

I'm taking a long weekend trip from Roanoke up Skyline Drive to Shenandoah National Park...probably staying somewhere in Luray. This is probably a loaded question, but looking for any suggestions on must see stops/hikes along the way. We're relatively young and in shape so we could probably handle a somewhat strenuous hike. Are the Shenandoah Caverns worth the visit? The fall colors should be at or around peak so maybe a horseback ride would be nice??

Thanks for the help!
