New York, New York...my kind of town

Me thinks this is a troll, perhaps?
Taking in a polo game or an ascot are options. I don't know who is currently playing at the Coolidge Center for the Arts but there's always a big name star there. I think there are a Four Seasons and a Rhine Elizabeth which are usually both quite nice. Dining is elegant at Emeril's Coolidge.
The biggest problem at Emeril's Coolidge is that Cousin Eddie keeps showing up and passing wind at the next table. If you can tolerate that, the food is sublime. The other downside to Emeril's is that the chef insists on singing country and western songs while preparing your meal.
I forgot to mention that the Chanel shop there has the best cocktail dresses I've seen anywhere.
My pet monkey loves visiting Coolidge...
Coolidge? Be sure and drive over to Oakley and see the chalk pyramids & Fick Fossil and History Museum http://www.washburn.edu/cas/art/cyoho/archive/KStravel/bigrocks/pyramids.html

Nearby Lake Scott State Park is also very nice. National Geographic Magazine named it one of the 50 must see state parks. http://www.naturalkansas.org/lake.htm
Oh, was your tongue in your cheek?

Watching the corn grow?
Shouldn't we get that group of musicians - those thinking about Rockford, IL, Akron, OH, etc... - to go to Coolidge instead? That way, those people can entertain muffin and her husband. Kill two birds with one stone.
Coolidge, on the other hand, is known for it's high quality B&Bs...
I prefer the villas at the Ritz Coolidge but I do have expensive tastes and Coolidge is NOT the place to be gauche.
Any places to buy Prada?
