Must see places in Washington & Oregon

I'm looking for help planning a 2-week driving trip in western halves of Washington and Oregon. I'll be traveling with my family during the 2nd half of July and do not want to drive too far east in either state. I like natural wonders, boat trips, dramatic coastal scenery, history, eating (especially seafood), beer, music, etc. QUESTION: What are some things that someone must see/do?

I don't have much info on Washington, but I took a shorter trip to Portland and the areas around there. My favorites were the Columbia River Gorge areas including Multnomah Falls. Portland has some wonderful city attractions including the Japanese Garden.

On the Oregon Coast, I enjoyed Canyon Beach - nice little town, beautiful beach and nearby parks for hiking.

The Oregon coast for sure for natural beauty. For "eating, beer, music" you'll want to spend some time in both Portland and Seattle.

Both of the Phish concerts are sold out but you could see Pink Martini and enjoy "Balloons over Bend" and a summer Sunday concert in Bend. http://www.theoldmill.com/events/?fi...r1+AND+filter2
The Pole Pedal Paddle is turning into a bust for May 16. It will start with a 1 mile run since we are down to 5" of snow which will be long gone before the event date.

Boats: any of the WA state ferries. Maybe a day trip to Victoria BC or Friday Harbor? Both are easy carfree days- I don't enjoy taking my car on the ferry.

I wanted to visit Crater Lake when I was in Oregon, but I had limited time and I decided to focus on the River Gorge area and the Coast. But if I had more time, that would definitely be on my list. I also didn't have time to visit Mt St helens which was on my "possible" list.
