MTA running vintage trains on Saturdays in December

The MTA is running its annual holiday train made up of vintage iND cars dating from 1930 to 1940.

They will be operating for 3 more Saturdays - 12/10, 12/17 and 12/24 - on the 6th Avenue line between 2nd Avenue (Manhattan) and Queens Plaza (Queens) making all local stops along the way (2nd Av, West 4th St, 14th St, 23rd St, 34th St, 42nd St, 47th-50th Sts, 5th Av-53rd St, Lexington Av-53rd St, Court Sq-23rd St (Ely), Queens Plaza)

There are 8 cars being used (car model and the date built is in parenthesis):
100 (R-1 1930)
381 (R-1 1931)
401 (R-4 1932)
484 (R-4 1932)
1000 (R-6-3 1935)
1300 (R-6-1 1937)
1575 (R-7A 1938 - rebuilt in 1947 as a prototype for a newer car - the R-10)
1802 (R-9 1940)

The train leaves from 2nd Avenue at 9:58 AM, 11:27 AM, 2:27 PM and 3:37 PM.
The train leaves from Queens Plaza at 10:43 AM, 12:13 PM, 1:42 PM, 3:13 PM and 4:43 PM.

For stations in between you have to add 4 to 16 minutes depending on how far the that station is from the starting point. (Example: the train leaving 2nd Avenue at 9:58 AM will arrive at 53rd St-Lexington Avenue about 10:14 AM)
