Mowich Lake Road in a Winnebago Rialta?

I'm planning to hike the Wonderland Trail in late August with a friend. I've been researching the route and decided to put in at Mowich Lake for an 11 day / 10 night trip.

My friend is traveling around the Northwest for several months this summer and will pick me up at the Seattle airport. This week he bought a 1997 Winnebago Rialta, and will be in a mini-Winni rather than the expected mini-SUV.

Will this contraption make it up the road to the trailhead??

Here's what one looks like:

Thanks,
Nelson

Post your question on RV.net in the "roads and routes" section of the forum and experienced RVer's who have driven this route will help you.

Thanks Barblab, will check it out. Appreciate the tip.

I did get a reply on summitpost.org, a hiking / mountaineering site that I frequent, from someone who thinks it will be fine.

It's a very well maintained gravel road that any passenger car can do, so I don't think an RV that size would have issues.

Thanks much christy, glad to hear we should be able to make it.

But I guess this means I'll have to carry my pack for 90 miles and 25,000 feet of elevation gain!

They are really more of a large van than the usual RV type units.
