Moving companies
Hi, I'm new here and scouring the universe for names of moving lines. This is our first move (UTAH- WASHINGTON D.C.) and have read a lot about scams and such.. so who are big, national moving companies we should get estimates from?

If you don't have a lot of stuff and don't mind packing your own stuff and putting it into the trailer yourself, we liked ABF U-Pack Moving a lot. www.upack.com 800 240 7422
They were very helpful and professional-- arrived right on time, stored our stuff for an extra month when we needed it, changed the destination at the last minute when our plans changed, and their prices were the best we could find for this type of service.

Moving to Washington DC I would guess that you would have a small load. ABF has several good choices. This is one of them.

They also sell a few feet in one of their trailers. They moved us from PA to OR a few years ago. PODS also works for a lot of people.
