Monteleone Hotel

What would be the best way to get a good deal on a room in October ?

Thanks

Keep checking the usual sites: expedia, travelocity, quikbook, kayak, orbitz, etc. Don't forget to check the hotel's website too and don't be afraid to call the hotel directly. You can check travelzoo for discounts for hotels in New Orleans when it's closer to your arrival date. Why just the Monteleone?

I suspect October might not be a bargain time to visit NOLA, but I could be wrong.

I see. I love the Monteleone. I found a discount on expedia last year and travelocity the April before for this hotel. What rate are you getting through the wedding connection?

There are other hotels so close to the Monteleone that might suit you. One is the Royal Omni just a block or so away from the Monteleone. Check the sites I referenced for discounts on both places.

Bowsprit ... The rate I was quoted is $240 + taxes

I really want to stay there rather than other hotels nearby.

Thanks

OK. Is that a cancellable rate? Can you book that room now at the Monteleone (with a cancellable rate) and continue to look around for a Monteleone discount between now and next October (which is too far in the future to get anything but posted rack rates now anyway)?

You're welcome. It's a lovely hotel. You can get a room with views over the river and the old city...just ask. Priceless.

October is not a busy month. If you keep checking prices you will find something lower than $240.00. Enjoy your visit.
