My wife and I are thinking about visiting Glacier National Park and maybe staying at a dude ranch. A friend stayed at a dude ranch outside Yellowstone this past summer and loved it. We have never visited GNP and are open to recommendations as to the best place to stay. Anyone have any experience with a dude ranch in the GNP area?

thanks so much, I viewed their website. Curious how you traveled to their property? We live in New Orleans and would fly somewhere then drive. Not sure where to fly into yet.

That property is approximately 140 miles fro Glacier park.

mxtennis1, We flew into Missoula and drove around to a few places for birdwatching. We stayed at Flathead Lake, Glacier Park and the dude ranch.

Great Falls would be the closest airport for Deep Canyon Ranch. It's easy to get to the eastern side of the park from Great Falls.

There are also dude ranches near the western side of the park like Flathead Lake Lodge in Bigfork or the Bar W near Whitefish. Then Kalispell would be the best airport.
