Moab: Best family hotel?

Hi all, have read that people like Best Western Canyonlands.
Was wondering about the Ramada Inn in Moab. Ramada has what looks like a nice restaurant next door, nice swimming pool.
Any opinions out there for Moab accommodations?

I vote for BW Canyonlands for a clean, comfortable stay in Moab. The continental breakfast is very good, and all aspects of our stay in Sept. 2000 were pleasant. We stayed in the BW Greenwell down the street in May 2001. This motel is an older property, with no continental breakfast, and less-than-stellar room appointments. Pasta J's is a good restaurant within walking distance of BW Canyonlands- which is very handy at night when you don't want to swing the car out on the main drag. Have not stayed at the Ramada; my experience with the chain hasn't been that great. Hope this info is helpful.

RB: Thank you very much for your input!
It's always good to talk to someone who's actually been there, done that.
I think I'll go with BW Canyonlands.

BW Canyonlands is a great choice.
Stayed there in July of 2000. Rooms were excellent, and they had a very nice pool. I eat at the Ramada for breakfast one morning. Not too good. We really enjoyed the Moab Diner. Not gourmet, but good meals and great ice cream! Be aware that it will probably be very hot. Pick up a cheap cooler and keep it stocked with plenty of water.

we stayed at the best inn back in march and were very satisfied....great price (about $50 per), a small refrigerator and a free breakfast (below average). my only advice would be to stay on the outskirts of town as the center of town can get congested...at least for such a small town like moab (well, it was spring break).
