Mississippi Shore Vacation Spot

My husband and I will be spending 3 nights in New Orleans...Would like to find a nice place on the beach for 3 nights before coming back to Louisville....Does anyone have any suggestions...Is Pass Christian, Bay St. Louis, or any coastal towns near New Orleans desirable....I know they have availability at a B&B in Pass Christian....Any information appreciated.
