Missing Trip Report.....

I did a long trip report on my vacation and it didn't post. How frustrating! What's going on?

Click on your screen name and all your posts will come up. I assume one of them is the trip report you're referring to.

Wow, that is strange. I have no explanation--frustrating, indeed.

Welcome back! I'm looking forward to your report. Hope it's not too abridged.

Did you try the "back" arrow? To get to the screen where you typed it? Then you could copy it and paste it elsewhere (like a Word document for safe keeping).

Dayle - I had the same thing happen to me recently, and it was because I was typing the report while connected to my business's VPN. When I disconnected from the VPN and retyped it, it posted. (Although oddly when I search for the report by keyword, it doesn't turn up, only when I search by my name.

Dayle,

Not being a "newbie" wouldn't you have done a "cut & paste" from a pre-written copy?

Yeah, I could have, but I was typing it straight into Fodors. My mistake. Oh well, I'm not about to do it over.

Very abridged version to come.
