I like Mirage for location. But go for the best rate.

Mirage pool and shopping is better...also closer to Fashion Show Mall and the shops a Wynn.
....and closer to the shops at Bellagio, Caesars Palace, and The Venitian.
In 2009 we stayed in Mirage - nice rooms, great pool area. I recommend it 100%.
We stayed at the Mirage a few weeks ago - our room was really nice and so is the pool. It's a nice location on the strip, too.
I like the Mirage better, MGM is just too darn big...
