My husband and I are heading to MSP this weekend and we recall reading somewhere that it is illegal to drive in MSP (or MN in general?) with anything stuck to the windshield, like a GPS or a radar detector. Does anyone know if this is correct - and if so, where can I find official information to that effect?
Thanks.

Okay, I found this which apparently indicates that it is illegal to drive with anything affixed to the windshield in MN:

Currently, there are two states that prohibit drivers from putting suction cup mounts on their windshield while operating their vehicle– California and Minnesota. This includes radar and the GPS. I live in MN.
