Shouldn't be too hard at all. You can either get off at the Cedar/Riverside station or the Metrodome station and walk, it's not terribly far to Williams arena from either one. I'm not at all familiar with the bus schedule in town but you can check out metrotransit.org to come up with a plan.
Cedars-Riverside is walkable if you are all adults (and you can brave the cold
), but what I would suggest is walking to campus, then taking the campus shuttle bus which is free. It used to stop pretty much right outside the arena, I haven't been to campus since the football stadium was constructed, so I'm not sure on the route now, but you should be able to find the stops on their website. Enjoy the game!
