Looking for summer ideas for 2 active seniors to take mini trips from North Central NJ. We are golfers, enjoy a nice pool, etc. etc. the outdoors and are looking for places to visit for 2-4 days, places we can drive to - up to 6 hours from us. Thanks!

Williamsburg has great courses. The Golden Horseshoe is ranked in the top 100 of public courses.

Both resorts have nice pools and are near beautiful natural areas.
In the summer it is always nice to head up to the mountains. Wintergreen has a challenging but interesting mountaintop course.
