Hi, visiting Milwaukee mainly to see the art museum this weekend (and Miller Park). Question: would like to combine time at Art Museum on Saturday with time on/around Brady Street, and also at the East Town Farmer's Market. Is this a feasible trio of activities for a morning-early afternoon? Is it all walkable for people who like walking?
Thanks!

Shasson, hope you enjoy your weekend in Milwaukee!
You could certainly walk from the East Town Farmer's Market to the Milwaukee Art Museum, which is about 5-6 blocks east of Cathedral Square (site of the Market).
Brady Street is about 8 blocks north of Cathedral Square. The walk between all three destinations is pleasant, but you may want to consider the distance. It's over 2 miles between the Art Museum and Brady Street.
There are a number of very good restaurants on and around the Brady Street/Upper East Side area. Hopefully you'll have time to enjoy 1 or 2 of them.
Thanks for visiting Milwaukee.
When on Brady Street--Go to Gloriosas Italian Deli. They have a great Italian Sausage Sandwich for $2.50, and their meats & cheese make a great snack with a bottle of wine in the park (or your room)
Thanks! Looking forward to wandering around and eating lots of encased meats!
Just to let you know. The Wisconsin State fair is going on this weekend in West Allis, just west of Milwaukee. There is a shuttle bus from Miller Park to the Fair. I went last Friday. If you really want to taste what Wisc has to offer in food, you can do it at the fair. Baked potato, cream puffs, brats,Italian sausage, cheese curds, roasted corn on the cob, steak sandwiches, pork chop sandwiches, duck fraitas(SP?), omlettes, canberries, maple root beer, maple cotton candy, ice cream sudaes, choclate milk, venison - elk - ostrich - buffalo jerky & burgers, giant pickles & summer sausage & much more. & if you like beer - Bud, Miller, Leinies, & a few others have pavillions there.
