In Milwaukee, the Wyndam Milwaukee Center and Hyatt Regency are among those that appear to come up on Priceline. But in checkign the Bidding for Travel site, there are no customer reviews of either property. Wondering if anyone here can tell me about either hotel...
In the past, we've stayed - very reasonably and to our satisfaction - at the Marriott Courtyard Downtown, but I'm planning a weekend with friends, and so am wondering whether the 3* Wyndam or Hyatt properties are that much nicer to warrant bidding for them, or should we try to go for the Marriott? And what might we expect to pay for parking? Thanks!

We did priceline in Milwaukee for 3 nights in August. Got the Four Points Sheraton out on Howell Ave for $55/night. Found it was quite easy to get into downtown from there and only paid to park one time. I think I orginally tried to get a hotel downtown but because of the state fair and a couple of other things going on at the time couldn't get my bid accepted so I added the south area to my bid and got the Sheraton. Nice hotel but we really didn't use any of the amenities (pool, restaurant, etc).

Pam - Thanks for the reply. We've stayed at that airport Sheraton - twice, in fact. But since this is only for one nite and we're going to be hitting the art museum in the morning, I guess I'd rather try to be right downtown this time around.
So I'll still hope that someone weighs in with comments on the 3* properties..
The Wyndham and the Hyatt are both very nice.
Stayed at the Hyatt last March through priceline ($45). Hotel was very nice. No pool, but great "revolving restaurant" on top floor..expensive, but great views. Walked to the museum. Would have driven to Art museum though. Paid for parking at ramp next door.
Thanks all! We ended up staying at the Sheraton Brookfield (free parking won out). Got it on Priceline for $39 and it was just fine - and their restaurant was a pleasant surprise, both in terms of very good food and reasonable prices.
When we go to Milwaukee we always use priceline and stay in Brookfield b/c it's a nice area and all the hotels are nice. You get a great price and can't go wrong. It's also easy to get to the freeway. I hope this helps people!
It's not close to the airport, however, in case people are flying in. It's on the northwest side and close enough to downtown for us. . .15 min. (No traffic times, of course)
