Milford, CT to NYC train

DH is going to be in Milford for business on a Thursday and then needs to get into NYC for an afternoon meeting on Friday, back to Milford during rush hour Friday, pick up car, drive to Boston area.

Can't seem to find name of whatever commuter rail is from southern CT to NYC to check schedules.

Also, what are chances he would find parking at train station late morning on a Friday?

NY to CT commuter rail is known as Metro-North. Here is the website http://as0.mta.info/mnr/schedules/sched_form.cfm from which you can find the necessary scheduling information. The trip from Grand Central to Milford takes about 90 to 100 minutes.

And here's a website with information on parking at the train station in Milford.

Thanks - very useful/exactly what he needs to plan trip. He may just take a cab from hotel in Milford to train.
