Might be the last family trip

Hi all, Where has the time gone? Two oldest kids are on their own with jobs and two youngest are still in elementary school. We have tried to vacation one week a year as a family, but are finding it is getting tough. We always found the carribean, florida and mexico to work so now I need suggestions. Hawaii, Costa rica, London - Dubai, what do you think? The youngest have two weeks off from school end of March, so I think the older kids could probably swing 10 days. I appreciate all suggestions, we like upscale and might be willing to spend a bit befor the oldest have their own kids to support

Well, you like beaches- Hawaii's cool. But I think London would be more "special" if you have the money!

I have to say I think New Zealand makes for a perfect family vacation. There's something for everyone there, and it's fairly inexpensive once you get there. We went when my kids were in Jr and HS and it was great!

Never been to Dubai- sounds like fun though! Definitely worth it,but I'd do London THEN Dubai, or the other way round. I mean, the first day or two in London you'll spend finding your bearings, then you'll really get into the city. I'd think it would be less stressful/expensive to not interrupt once you've found your "groove". (fewer hotel changes, packing) But if your family adjusts well to change and you're light packers, go for it!
