Karl, the tour will be everywhere from Detroit, Grand Rapids, Traverse City, UP.....since we're from Phoenix, we can do cool, but we'd heard about mosquitoes and if that is not a problem, we'll probably go.

The last two years in Southern MI the mosquitoes have been nil. I don't go to the Upper Peninsula often but have never, ever found the mosquitoes to be as bad as say Minnesota or WI in the mid to Southern part of the state.
One of my best friends goes to a spot on Lake Michigan for the second week in June each year and she says it is "no bug" time. I have a place in SW Central MI and it is lakefront. We have no mosquitoes at all in June and in Fall the yellow jackets are the only bugs that have ever been a problem.
