miami to paris/best website for cheap airfares

I have been looking for cheap airfares from Miami to Paris either going in late June, August or October. Everything seems so sky high. Two years ago I went to Italy for 10 days with my hubby and paid $3500 round trip, air and hotels included. Great deal! I cant seem to find anything like it this year to Paris. Any one have any suggestions? I already received great info from you guys on hotels. Now I need a great airfare. I tried Cheap Tickets, Travelocity and even a travel agent. Any thoughts? Thanks again

This issue comes up here fairly often and I think most people feel you're not going to find a good deal in March because 1) June and August are peak season, 2) the price of fuel is going nowhere but up, and 3) it's too early for airlines to have deals for the summer IF they're going to have them at all. You're simply not going to see what you did 2 years ago.

CO is having a sale now, but only through mid-May. I've heard US is having a sale, but check their website for details.

It's too early for any deals in Oct.

www.itasoftware.com (use the "month-long view")

I agree..two years ago might as well be FIFTY years ago...fuel prices are up, the dollar is down, etc. Just expect to pay MORE..after all, those airline folks like a raise every now and then, too.

Thanks guys. I kinda knew the answer, however, I will keep checking. Darn fuel hikes!!! I know my hubby will still want to book something even if we pay a little more. We have to go to see his new grandson (Fabrizio Dante Cosentino).(Hence, my screen name) lol..I would still like to go in the warm weather though. I live in Florida and all I have are summer clothes, so I guess we will have to pay the price

I'd be tempted to aim for Oct. Weather should be really nice and fewer crowds. It's also more off-season, so you're likely to find more deals by then - but you probably won't see those until mid-summer. Just my opinion.
