Include South Haven, Grand Haven
Google each of the four towns
I don't recall any hotel/motel on the beach in any of the 4. Maybe a B&B
Most all beach front rentals are for a week or more, so for a one night stand you may have to seek lodging inland.
Check www.millpondrealty.com and www.lakeshorelodging.com
Depending when you are visiting, you may be able to rent less than a week. Rental properties are hurting in that area this year and are a lot more flexible on rental days. We were able to rent a house for Thur - Mon for Labor Day weekend.
I forgot to mention it will be during the week and what are your opinions of Lake Shore resort, the Holiday Inn Express or the Boulevard Inn?
