Mendon Mountainview Lodge in Killington, VT - anyone stay here/ other suggestions?

Hello everyone -

I am trying to find accomodations for 3 adults and 1 5 year old in Killington area. I checked several chain(Comfort Inn/Best Western, etc) lodging and small family-run inns but from the little reviews to be found in TA, the prospect looks bleak : ) A condo would work best but didn't want to spend as much : )

Has anyone tried the above accomodation? The 4 or 5 reviews are quite positive but the reviews are quite dated so am concerned that it might have changed from a couple of years ago. Was hoping someone can give input or provide alternatives?

A shame no one replied to you! I confess we have NOT eaten or stayed there. I've only heard that it is (a) nice but (b) expensive.

Wish I could say more.

You might check on line for Vermont B&B's or inns and see what you find. We don't live near Killington; we're southwest of there by maybe 40 miles or so.

I wish you luck finding something. This time of year, things are VERY busy in that area, of course!

I havent been there either...but....have you looked into Rutland? You'll have to drive to the mountain (20 minutes or so). There is a new Hampton Inn that is nice (or at least looks it from the outside).
