Memphis Accomodation
I am taking my daughter to see Rhodes later this week and will need to stay overnight in Memphis. Does anyone have a recommendation for our overnight stay? Anything quaint and reasonable priced would be interesting. Any local restaurant? Thanks!

Where are you coming in from ??? I lived In Memphis for 20 years. There is nothing in the Rhodes area accomodation wise. Your choices would either be downtown, midtown (limited) or out east near the Poplar / I-240 area or even further east in Germantown. So if I know which way you will be headed out after your visit, I could recommend best place to stay so you will be headed in right direction the next morning.

The Hilton at 240 and Poplar is a nice place to stay. It is a little off the main drag and is quiet.
There are so many good place to eat in Memphis. Houston's is one of my favorites, it's right on Poplar, going towards Rhodes you will see it on the right, about 2 or 3 blocks from the Hilton. I will try to get a list together and come back and post more restaurants.
