Maui,Kauai,Lanai

Planning on traveling to Hawaii next March. Trying to decide which two of the three islands would be best to visit, and what resorts to stay at.

What do you want and expect fron your vacation? What kind of accomodations od you prefer--luxury resort? spa? condo? private cottage? on the beach? What is your budget, how long are you staying and what do you want to do when you are there? Do you require fine dining, activites, privacy?

Your question is way too vague to generate any informed replies. I am suprised that John can recommend Maui and Kaua`i for you, since you have given us no idea what you want, other than to visit two of three islands.

Uh, Maui and Kauai! I agree. UNLESS you are the hugest golf fans of all time, and ONLY want to chill at the resort, then go to Lanai too. You could always go to Lanai for a long day trip. It's gorgeous but there'd be much more to do at the other 2.

Just my 2 cents. Here 2day gone to Maui said it best - it all depends on what you want to do!!!!!

I'm just being more blunt about it. Oh yeah - Kauai and Maui.

Thank heavens for the people who just don't get Lanai! How many nights are you looking at, and again more on your expectations as here today referred to......

It should be no surprise that gone2's inquiries, were basically already asked ~6 months ago by Crazy4HI to no avail.

At that time the poster indicated a desire to stay a week each on Maui and Kaua`i. A week stay on Maui could easily include a visit to Lanai as stever insightfully indicates.

cj013, I believe you may be able to experience it all!
Aloha
