I'm planning a two-week stay with a week each on Maui and Kaui. I'd like to stay in condos for the extra space but don't want to give up resort ammenities. Kapalua Villas in Maui appeal because they have privileges at the Ritz-Carlton and Kapalua Bay Hotel; however, from what I've read, I think we'd be safer weather-wise in the sunnier Wailea area. Does anyone know of any other nice condos that offer resort privileges at neighboring resorts on either Maui or Kauai?

No, but, you CAN buy a day pass for the Grand Wailea.

We checked into getting day passes at resorts and found that you pay 1/2 the rack rate to get a room during the day with resort privileges. We decided to go to the beach instead. Couldn't see spending all that money on day use plus cocktails and food. Looking back wwe missed nothing.

I think the day pass for the pool area at the Grand Wailea was about $40.
