For many years we have stayed in a condo In kaanapali that costs $200 per night. Are there any hotels or condos in the Wailea area that we could get for that price?

Grand Champions should have several choices for that price. We stayed in this unit www.vrbo.com/26877 at Grand Champions several years ago. It was a ground floor unit so no view but a short drive (or walk) to the beach. The photos on the website are confusing though because two different bedrooms (it is a one bedroom unit) and living room photos are displayed. It doesn't make sense. Hope you find a great place to stay.
We're happy at Maui Kamaole in South Kihei near the border with Wailea. The Palms in Wailea is nice. These are both somewhat newer complexes with larger units than most of the older places. (Smallest 1 BR at Maui Kamaole is 1000 sq ft living area and two baths.) They are both ocean view and an easy walk to the beach. Grand Champions is OK, but with a more distand ocean view, and it's a hike to the beach.
What time of year would you stay? (Price varies by season.) What size condo do you need?
