Maui Revealed - new edition Sept 21

I almost bought the old (2005) edition of Maui Revealed and luckily the second salesperson I talked to told me that the new edition is coming out September 21st.

Hopefully this is not against any rules for messages. Clearly, from all my Hawaii questions, you have to know I'm not related to the book or authors !

Well, I hope the new edition has improved its safety advice. There's been much discussion on this forum about these books. Here's just one example of a story where bad advice from the guidebook got someone into trouble....

Gee...the people IGNORED the No Tresspassing signs and then got into trouble. And that's the fault of the guidebook? Sounds like the person with that web site is trying to sell their own tourist guide, "Surviving Paradise".

I burned my old edition. =D>

I prefer the Kauai Underground, Frommers, Fodors and Lonely Planet books.
