Marvelous restaurant in upper Michigan
I post now and then over on the Europe forum, my specialty for Holland and such. But I have to write about a great restaurant I was in yesterday. It is the Willow Tree in West Branch, Michigan. It's about an hour north of where I live, in Midland. Service, food, ambience -- I didn't know we had this in Michigan! It would be worth a two hour drive. There was a Sunday afternoon buffet, but we missed it.

Wow! Is it kid friendly? We've been stopping at the Lumberjack in West Branch just to break up the drive between Troy and Indian River. A new place would be good. What kind of food do they have?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Yes ST. There is nothing but trees up there. My normal travel destination is MBS airport with a connection to Amsterdam at DTW.
As for kids, I didn't see any. The Willow Tree is a quiet elegant place with great background music and perfect food. I'll be back, maybe this weekend already.
