My parents' 40th wedding anniversary is coming up, and my brother and I would like to get them a gift certificate for a stay on the Vineyard. Growing up, we spent a few weeks there every summer, but none of us has been for years, so I'm not sure quite where to start.
I'd like it to be something nicer than they'd do for themselves without being so fancy as to make them uncomfortable (I think the Charlotte Inn is out). I can't decide between something in Edgartown or something a little off the beaten path, so any suggestion is welcome. Our budget is $500/night (they would probably go next Sept/Oct).
