Marriott's Mountain Valley Lodge @ Breckenridge
Looking for any reviews or inside info on this facility - rooms, proximity to town and activities, pool, etc.
I just booked 5 days there in July for my family of 5. We have 2 studio rooms (used Marriott points so these were the only rooms available to us).
Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Jcee on thier web page they have lots of good infomation if you have not looked already
http://marriott.com/property/propertyPage/QKBVI
for ideas on activites in Summit County look at www.summinet.com and www.snow.com
Breck is fairly small so if they are at all close to Main st you will be able to walk to Town.
You are going to love Breck in summer! tons of things to for a family.

I have never stayed here, but I think I've visited friends who stayed here. The Lodge is directly off the southern end of Breckenridge's Main St., so definitely accessible to the downtown.
I think part of the facility is newer (that's the parts my friends stayed in); if it's the place I'm thinking of, they were in a studio too, and it was relatively spacious (for a studio). The pool was large and nice, with great views onto the mountain slopes. As I recall, it's more of a kids' pool, most of it not very deep. There are several outdoor hot tubs and one or two indoor ones.
The place also backs onto the Blue River and Maggie Pond, so you'll have nice views of those as well. The river, which is more the size of a stream, is a great place for kids to go wading if the water level is low enough (which it may be in July this year, unfortunately).
And I'll echo Coskier that you'll have a great time. I think I prefer Breck in the summer over the winter.
