Mahalo Islandmom & MelissaHI!

Just wanted to extend my thanks to both of you for all of your wonderful suggestions on things to do with a 4yr old on Oahu! Despite the fact that my hubby was stuck in meetings most of the time, my daughter & I had a w-o-n-d-e-r-f-u-l time thanks to your fabulous suggestions! We have been home for about 3 weeks now & my daughter is STILL talking about all of the fun times we had on our trip. Our trip started off with beautiful weather, but then those bad storms rolled in (when H1 was closed due to flooding)- but Islandmom you saved the day with your recommendation for the Children's Discovery Center!!! What a FABULOUS place! We arrived shortly after opening & stayed until they closed at 1pm- we would have stayed all day. My daughter LOVED dressing up in all the beautiful costumes & playing in "my town", "the body" & visiting all the different countries- we also signed up for craft time & she had fun painting. When we left it was pouring rain, but we were in such good spirits, that we went over to the Dixie Grill for lunch! The sandbox was a little wet, but my daughter didn't seem to mind, she had a great time & the waiter was so nice he gave her crayons & a balloon. Food was good too!
Thanks to your other suggestions, we also went to the Zoo, the Aquarium & Sea Life Park (to name a few). Just wanted to let you know how much we appreciate your thoughtful suggestions!
Thank you!
