Luxor, Ballys or NYNY

I have $99 rates for Luxor and Ballys and $109 for NYNY in April. Luxor is at the end of the strip and Ballys is Center Strip. But how do the rooms compare? We are a couple in our 30's and want something nice at a reasonable price. Is NYNY worth the extra $10? We are not big gamblers and will be mostly sightseeing, so the mid-strip location is appealing. Comments appreciated.

I'd pick Bally's. The location is perfect and the rooms are big. We stayed at Luxor once, but didn't care for it. I can't comment on NYNY since I've never stayed there.

My vote would be for Bally's, very central location and connected to the Paris. Step outside and see the fountains of the Bellagio.

New York New York, has a dark atmosphere inside the casino area, have not stayed there though to comment on the rooms.

Thanks. I just got a promo rate from TI (Treasure Island) and booked it since it is center strip. It is for $109 per night and includes a Tower Deluxe Upgrade, $10 off at Kahunaville, 2-4-1 breakfast buffet at Dishes and a free welcome cocktail. I figure its cancellable/refundable up to 2 days prior to our arrival. So I'll keep my email promo watch going to see if any better offers come in.

Just this week I got promo email from Paris and Ballys that includes show tickets, discounts, attractions, gambling credit...you name it. Selected dates and I did not search.

That being said, I have stayed at every place that you mentioned except Luxor (never appealed to me). NYNY is lots of fun but the standard room is nothing special, if that matters to you.

Taking Luxor out of the discussion, I would take any of the other 3 over TI. the quoted rates on my email are Paris: $115 Bally's $79. The freebies they throw in are significant.
